It’s birthday month! Emy and Nolan both born on June 19th and Gwyn on June 30th! 11, 9 and 6!!! We did a drive by party. Their friends basically pulled up the curb and chettwd for a bit while we blasted music and gave out sweets and goodie bags
We’ve been watching the protests from around the country and world and wanting to participate but those events feel far from our small town. Thank you, thank you, thank you to @zone_05ke for standing up and organizing in a city like Ashland. It
This feels like a million years ago. This was the last time I was in the rental shop to test a camera. I was there to test the @arri Alexa Mini LF and @zeissgroup Supreme Primes for a short film with director @thenathanwilliam . Of course the camera
Thought I’d share a few BTS photos from the previous post. Can’t say enough how much I enjoyed working on this project. The team on this was incredible. In my previous post there is a full list of cast and crew. Special thanks though to m
Lil Dumplins! Link in bio. I can’t tell you what a blast it was to work on this project. I mostly work on commercials so doing something different was so fun and we had such an amazing team on this. If you have kiddos I highly recommend watchin
The weather is terrible today but I was able to get out for a few minutes to play with the new Valtrox 85mm. Besides getting used to the weight difference from the 16-55mm kit lens I’ve been using, I’m loving this lens.

Gwynie. Another frame from the new Valtrox 85. This one is through the windows by our front door. We live in a nearly 100 year old house and there’s lots of great old glass to shoot through.
Emy. Just playing with the my new Valtrox 85mm on my Fuji X-T2. For the money this lens is pretty awesome. I’m sure the Fuji equivalent is better but this is like half the price. I’m mostly just shooting for IG post and BTS anyway.

I’m so thankful for my family right now. We drive each other crazy and it’s super hard sometimes but they are my people. Being stuck in the house has been a challenge and we finally found some time to get out for a walk. Yes…we sup

Well these are different. We live in a more rural area of Central Ohio. That means sometimes we have to drive to “the next town over” to get services we need. For instance our eye doctor is about an hour away in Mt Vernon. I went last wee
Fireflies. Instagram doesn’t really do it justice but this is 15 photos merged to reveal all the fireflies that were out this night. It was pretty cool.
Had the chance a couple of weeks ago to play around with the Red Ranger and @arri Trinity steadicam. I’ve been super busy so I haven’t had much time to look at the frames but here a couple of shots that stood out to me. Love the build of

I love my job. It’s a joy.

It took me a long time to get here. I’m a bit of a late bloomer. I didn’t make films as a kid (although I loved movies) or even know people could do this sort of thing for a job. I’ve worked in a cr
Last photos from our Lake Michigan trip. Hopefully we can get back this summer when it’s warmer.
